Finding creative solutions to different kinds of problems is something I have always enjoyed. My degree is a B.S. in Chemistry. Using this degree, I was able to get a “technician” level job in a chemistry lab doing R&D, Chemical Processing, and Quality Assurance. Every Chemist must have the skills to interpret raw data that relates to chemistry in such a way that they are able to draw meaningful conclusions from it. I became passionate about data and I started to learn the required skills to become a data analyst. I was able to find a job as a Research Analyst and my main responsibilities include conducting training needs analysis through surveys and interviews, setting timelines and assisting budgetary plan for each pillar of the project and keeping my team on task and successfully completing all deliverables before the target deadlines, collecting, organizing, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data through post-training surveys and interviews with the supervisors and utilizing models to evaluate the results of training, exploring issues and barriers, predicting trends and forming hypothesizes, and finally compiling information drawn from the data to help managers and stakeholders see the business value and preparing communications for storytelling, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and presentations to provide insights into what the data reveals to facilitate decision-making.

I personally believe that completing a personal project is 100 times more valuable than completing an online certificate because it prepares you better for what a data analyst actually does and that is the reason I decided to show my portfolio in my website. The road to success is not easy to navigate, but with hard work, drive and passion, it is possible to achieve it!
